Since COVID-19 has forced us to suspend live, in-person productions, we have been looking for alternatives. In September we brought you an online Wuthering Heights, and we followed that up with our very own adaptation of the classic Japanese ghost story 牡丹燈籠 (The Peony Lantern). For our third livestreamed show, we presented a wholly original multimedia theatre work created by our summer ensemble.
What do world-bending love, a kickass science fiction concept, a touch of Greek mythology, the dark side of late-stage capitalism, and surrealism have in common? Well, they’re all part of The Upside.
The show is no longer being performed live, but you can still watch the final show by buying a ticket.
After you buy your tickets, you will be put on an exclusive mailing list. You will receive an email with the link to view the show. That same link will redirect to a final, high-quality, edited version of the show when it is produced. You’ll be notified by email if you don’t unsubscribe from the ticketing email list. After the video is released, you will be given an opportunity to join our main mailing list. The ticket-buyers’ list will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted within 30 days of the video release, along with all personal information.
Don’t forget that the best way to support us is to become a member-level supporter on Patreon! You’ll get sneak previews of things like costume design sketches if you are one of our Patrons on our Patreon page.
