Brandon returns to Island Shakespeare Festival for his third season after performing in four productions and serving as a fight captain over the past two summers. He is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside these fine actors, artists, and a creative team—and with a company he has long hoped to grow with.

Brandon Dion Gregory is a storyteller, actor, educator, and director whose performing arts journey spans more than two decades across theatre, film, television, and education. He holds an MFA in Acting from Pennsylvania State University and has trained and worked throughout the United States and internationally.

While this marks Brandon’s first professional directing engagement, directing is not new territory. He has directed community theatre productions, including It’s a Wonderful Life, and has spent years directing scenes, sections of plays, and performances as an acting teacher and private coach. His storytelling work also includes directing music videos and filmed projects, where performance, composition, pacing, and editing all become part of the storytelling process.

ブランドン・ディオン・グレゴリーは、物語を紡ぐ表現者であり、俳優、教育者、演出家としても活動しています。演劇、映画、テレビ、教育の各分野にわたり、20年以上に及ぶ舞台芸術のキャリアを築いてきました。ペンシルベニア州立大学で演技の美術修士号（MFA）を取得し、アメリカ国内各地および海外で研修を積み、活動してきました。

今回がブランドンにとって初めてのプロとしての演出の仕事となりますが、演出自体は初めてではありません。これまで『It’s a Wonderful Life』などの地域演劇の公演を演出してきたほか、演技指導者や個人コーチとして、長年にわたりシーンや戯曲の一部、さまざまなパフォーマンスの演出に携わってきました。また、ミュージックビデオや映像作品の監督も手がけており、演技、構図、テンポ、編集のすべてを物語を紡ぐ要素として活用しています。
