Years after Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus, Aaron the Moor’s surviving son has grown up as Marcellus Andronicus, adopted into the very family his father once helped destroy. Now poised to inherit the future of Rome, Marcellus begins searching for the truth about the past that has been hidden from him.

But some histories refuse to stay buried.
