It’s 2022, but the pandemic isn’t over yet… since the spring of 2020, YTG has been bringing livestreamed events to our audience, and we’re not going to stop now. It started with our livestreamed cabaret in May 2020, followed by September 2020’s online Wuthering Heights. We opened 2021 with our very own adaptation of the classic Japanese ghost story 牡丹燈籠 (The Peony Lantern), and closed the summer with our third livestreamed workshop, The Upside.
Using the Noh play 松風 | Matsukaze as our launchpad, the 2022 ensemble has created a brand new play that will be broadcast live on the internet. The final version of the play will be presented in August of 2022.
After you donate or buy your tickets, you will be put on an exclusive mailing list. You will receive an email with the link to view the show. That same link will redirect to a recorded version of the workshop in case you aren’t able to view it live. You’ll be notified by email when the performance is due to start (if you don’t unsubscribe from the ticketing email list!). After the video is released, you will be given an opportunity to join our main mailing list. The ticket-buyers’ list will not be used for any other purpose and will be deleted within 1 year of the video release, along with all personal information.
Don’t forget that the best way to support us is to become a member-level supporter on Patreon! You’ll get sneak previews of things like costume design sketches if you are one of our Patrons on our Patreon page.
